FREE For MSFS 2024 Famous Flyer 12 PA-28-236 Dakota
I might be wrong but normally if you get the efb tablet up on your screen, the inbuilt sim tablet I mean, you can go into a weight and balance section and then just make sure that their seat positions are set to 0 pounds in weight and then they wont show up. Hopefully that will help.

Finally, Trains are coming to MSFS!
looks interesting, made me think of that freeware addon for an older version of Flightsim, might have been for FS2000, FS2002, CFS1 and 2, CFS (combat flight sim) Think it was FSRail, something like that.

PMDG 777 Airports in Europe / UK ?
BA flies their 777s into Cardiff for their maintenance hangars there. Food for thought. Just incase you want to do a heathrow to Cardiff flight. Stansted, Gatwick, Heathrow, Birmingham, East midlands (freighter 777s) Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle are some of the UK airports that i can think of that have 777s regularly using it for mostly pax services except East midlands that have 777s using it daily for Cargo flights. And there will be others that will be large enough but be a rare visitor. Stansted and Newcastle, Glasgow for example have had or still have a service from Emirates from Dubai thats a 777.

Henrik Nielsen's Global AI Ship Traffic for MSFS
Do you have Orbx GB South Landmark Scenery? That adds lots of static ships in various locations, so it might be those. Only other thing i can think of is the Aerosoft North Sea Pack as that again will add lots of static ships around English Channel as well.

New Airport At St Helena
Well from what I heard it has been delayed indefinitely now because they say it is too dangerous for airliners to land there. Seems a bit daft to build the airport up completely and not find out until they actually fly a plane there to test it out to realise that there is going to be windshear. But anyway, will see what happens and the mail ship is going to have to carry on for a while now.

Lighting and shadows change as I pan
Is that the HDR lighting working? Untick that option in your settings, under lighting and see if that helps. It might be related to that. If not, I am sure someone else will help.

Orbx FTX Global Base Question
I downloaded it recently and it does include the option. If you look at this link, they do update it often and will display which products now have a P3D v3 installer https://www.fullterrain.com/sim/P3Dv3

So what's going on at REX?
Well I am sure this update will come at some time so those of you who do have FEX for FSX, make use of the beta as it is just involves replacing an old EXE file with a new EXE and see what that offers. I believe there is another post about that somewhere though so will not go in to that too much.

'Ghost clouds'
Great news Jeroen! :) That will also do the same thing in FSX btw.

'Ghost clouds'
In one of the settings you have the option to affect the weather over time. Not sure if that is having an effect. I think the default setting might be medium so whilst you are flying around it might be changing the weather. Just an idea!

MS Flight continues... new rumours
Perhaps it is Dovetail Games then, after all Flight was on Steam, like Railworks, also the interface on Flight was set up for DLC Content etc. Just an idea, will wait and see.

White Strips/tears in ground? ATI user?, please read, might help
Hi there. I came across this problem with my ATI card where as during flight, the ground would have white gaps, rips in the terrain as you flew around. I managed to fix it by looking in my ATI control panel and then looking at the Tesselation Options. I saw that It had my Tesselation settings set to ATI Optimized and I changed that option to Application Managed. After this, the problem vanished. A user in the forums recently said he had the same problem so I told him about what I had done to fix it and to give it a try and he told me that it had helped fixed his problem too, so I thought I would share it with you here, as it might possibly help others in the future. Craig

Ground "white gaps"
Also as you have swapped graphics card recently, make sure you have done this also. This will also help I believe. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/428784-new-video-card-requires-new-shaders/ Hope that you get those tears fixed. Craig

Ground "white gaps"
ATI Card user by chance? If so have a look in your Catalyst Control Panel Settings and see if Tesselation is set to Application Managed. For me, I had the same problem as you and then noticed my Tesselation setting was set to Amd Optimised, when I changed it to Application Managed, those white gaps vanished. Hope it helps you. If not then, well I did try I did notice in your "MY PC" part of your profile that it says you have an Nvidia card, but sometimes people will change to other cards and forget to update. If you still have the Nvidia card, have a look for something similar with your driver settings for tessellation incase there is something there you could look at. Craig

Prepar3D 2.2 Released!
Just a heads up. There will be a hotfix released shortly to fix the problem of when you are creating a flightplan using P3D and then you get a CTD. Will be either a Dll or some Dll's Info about the problem here. http://www.prepar3d.com/forum-5/?mingleforumaction=viewtopic&t=6344.0#postid-33667 Cheers Craig
