Funny Magenta Course Lines

Featured Replies

If this was posted before I missed it, but anyway,While in Heading Mode and after executing a waypoint that I would like to go direct to, the magenta course line is not placed from the nose of the airplane symbol to the waypoint on the ND, but from the airport of departure to the waypoint. This is not right. But if I have Lnav engaged instead before executing my waypoint, the magenta course line will be correctly placed from the nose of the airplane symbol on the ND to the waypoint. Then, if I engage Heading mode again, the magenta course line redraws from the Departure airport to the active waypoint. This is not right. My point is, it shouldn't matter what lateral mode is engaged to correctly go direct to a waypoint. Currently it seems that it can only be done with Lnav engaged and thats not right.Does anybody else see this or it it a know bug I missed? John Floyd
