September 29, 200322 yr Thought of a couple small things which would be nice to add. They're small enough that perhaps maybe they could make SR-2?1. When you click the button (sorry forget the exact name of it) to change to standard alt setting a .wav plays saying something like 'transition altitude set and cross checked'. PS1.3 does this.2. The ability to have to click only one button that will generate random failures throughout the entire plane, rather than having to individually select each failure.3. A small "Wizzard" type program that making modifying and creating SIDs and STARs, etc., do-able via pointing and clicking. Just my two cents.-Bryan
September 29, 200322 yr Commercial Member Dear Bryan-thanks for your input. Every suggestion is welcome.I don't imagine that these items will make SU2, as we're nearing our cut-off date for it (don't ask what it is ;-) ), but we'll be looking into those suggestions for our 800/900 release.I think, though, that for item 3, there are some external programs that might be doing this. You might want to check around the forum - I seem to remember having seen somthing like that. If not, then - well, here's your chance for fame and glory! ;-) Lefteris Kalamaras - Founder www.flightsimlabs.com
September 29, 200322 yr I'd love the idea of a SID/STAR 'Wizard'!!:-) Couldn't find anything in the forum though. Anyone?Cheers,Paulhttp://www.strontiumdog.plus.com/sbird.jpgOfficially licenced by British Airways plc for use of name and logo[p]AMD XP2800+ Barton, Gigabyte GA-7NNXP nForce2, 1Gig Crucial PC3200 DDR 400MHz, Gainward 128 MB GF4-4200, SB Audigy, 3 x WD Caviar SE[/p]
September 29, 200322 yr Can't be too hard to build a "Wizard" to create procedures once the grammar is written in stone (read SU2?). Should be very much doable!I'm having a hard time getting any progress on my fuel planner, but when it's ready I could make a try on this one. But I hope someone will beat me to it! :-)Regards, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
