October 1, 200322 yr Hi, When I engage the autopilot on climbout the elevator flutters up and down and the aircraft does a "purposing act" the whole flight even in cruise. I have SP1.1 installed. Is this a known issue or any way to fix it. thanks for your time, Jase Traylor
October 1, 200322 yr Yes it is *known*. It's a combination actually (user and aircraft) but rest assured on PMDG's end it will be (already is) delt with in SU2. ;) [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. October 3, 200322 yr BEFORE you engage the A/P make sure you have FLAPS UP and are not going too slow. If your climb is at 250 then come close before engaging. This will teach you correct NG flying habits. You can always buy the FMC Users Guide and see how the real pitos handle autoflight, this NG is good enough to go by that..[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. October 3, 200322 yr Hi JaseIf you are using the -600 in FS9 this could be due to a trim problem. It is acknowledged by the PMDG team and it will be corrected til SU2 within the flight dynamics handeling in FS9.What was your trim settings during this "purpoising act"? What was the load configuration on the flight? Fuel quantity? To avoid the problem decrease your trim settings to proper values and load pax and cargo within limits. Also load fuel, fill wing tanks first, according to expected fuel burn + reserves.Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
October 3, 200322 yr Thanks for all of your comments. I'm not sure what the trim was at that time. I know I was near MTOW. My fuel was as it should have been although im not sure if I feeled the wings first. Thanks again. Looking foward to that SU2.
