October 8, 200322 yr Greetings,I have almost finished my Aer Lingus version, although they never had -700's I have painted it as a -500 series which they are currently operating.Regards,Niall O'Reilly
October 8, 200322 yr Niall,Looking good. Don't forget to paint the starboard side APU inlet cover. It's located on PMDG_Det_1_T about 1/3 of the way up in the middle of the texture map. Looks like an arrowhead.:-spacecraft http://www.precision...GX_Dev_Team.jpg PMDG Graphic Designer
October 8, 200322 yr Actually-I read in the Irish Times that Aer lingus are looking into buying a large number of aircraft. It's pretty much between the A320 or the 737NG.I'm voting the NG of course ;)JohnP 2.53 GHZ512 RAMWINXPGFORCE 4 128MB Ti4600http://homepage.eircom.net/~eamonnmca/images/logo_ba.JPGwww.bavirtual.co.uk Senior Captain Simflight.com Staff Reviewerhttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg
October 8, 200322 yr If they dont want their vertical stabilizer to break off they'll buy the 737s. Airbus is more concerned with eye candy and computers than safety IMO. - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
October 9, 200322 yr Thanks to all for your response.Pete,Thank you for the direcction on the PMDG_Det_1_T. One issue I'm having is trying to remove some of the antenna from the model. I thought I had them removed from PMDG_Det_1_T I think! But they still come up as grey on the aircraft.Sorry about the quality of the images. It's the first time I have ever uploaded images and was not aware of the size restriction.John,As for your wish for Aer Lingus to opt for the 737, it has already been decided. They are going for the Airbus. They will be getting rid of their BAe 146's initally, very soon if not already.By the way, the PC Pilots of Ireland currently celebrating our 10th anniversary, are having a fly-in on Oct 18th in the Holiday Inn in Dublin Airport(EIDW), so if you can make it I will be rolling out my new livery. Thanks again,Niall O'Reilly
October 9, 200322 yr Pete,do you have like a description of the paintkit files, so painters know where they can find the different parts that must be painted?RegardsThomas
