October 24, 200322 yr "what's the MMR? Multi Mode Receiver?"Correct! Glideslope, Loc and GPS receivers all in one box. The 737 has two of them.Great to see you on the forum :-)Cheers.Ian.
October 25, 200322 yr "I failed to notice Im on the FO's side."After mistakes like this, we may have to hand back our Engineer licences, Wallace :-)
October 25, 200322 yr Great stuff...but way to much information. I know a retired Navy Test Pilot .... China Lake NAWS...flew lots in the F-4. This is regarding the splitter plate and the ramp inlets to the engines....key point never knew how they worked just that if they did not you did not go supersonic...if you tried compressor stall. You should see the flight manuals for those planes kind of reminds me of a comic book.Great stuff Ian keep up the good work.Tony
October 25, 200322 yr "I have to blame it on the double vision induced by the guinness stout"LOL...I blame nightshift/overwork... and lack of Guinness Stout :-)Cheeers.Ian.
