Anyone willing to do a repaint?

Featured Replies

I know there have been many requests recently, but just wondered if anyone was willing to do a Jet2 repaint or already had one in the pipeline?http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.sear...inct_entry=trueI know they only currently fly the 737-300 so it would be a fictional 600 or 700.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Matt

Matt,I like the Jet2 livery and have been eyeing it awhile. If, when I'm done with the list I've already committed to, the Jet2 is still among the missing, I'll fire up the ol' paint brush and see if I can do it justice.

Pete,Superb! Thanks a lot.Matt

Pete,I know this is probably a damned stupid question, but i'm going to ask anyway. Can you explain to me how one goes about actually painting a livery on flightsim aircraft?Do you start out with a barebone outline and go from there, or do you have a paint by numbers scenario? What program do you paint with? Do you transpose photographs? how???? Curiosity is getting the better of me.

I can't speak for others, but usually I begin by finding the best photos I can of the fuselage. I then crop, re-size and add it as another layer in the template, matching the major "landmarks" on the template to the photo.Painting the PMDG 737 is really very easy. The authors have done all the hard work for us on the template. :)Best,Bill

Thanks Bill, its one of those ...."I wonder how they do that" questions! :-)

If so, any idea of when it might be available?

Just looked at the same pictures last night and decided to this one between the projects ;-)Actually already started the progress... lol :-)Andr

Any chance that anyone will be kind enough to do the new Jet2 Livery which rolled out today? Its only a slight amend to the existing livery (I think!).http://www.airliners.net/open.file/584454/L/Matt
