October 23, 200322 yr I am writing this to find out if there's any other way to find out the fuel requirement for a flight using another source such as a fuel planner. I see that there's a fuel chart available with the operating manual, but as weather changes and things like that I realized that it can't be used as a stong tool. so if there's anything that i am not aware of yet please let me know please. Thanks Best Regards Adib Afraj Best Regards Adib Afraj
October 23, 200322 yr Adib,I asked the very same question recently, the answer is that there is one being worked on. Just a matter of time before it's released.Personally,I'd love something similar to 767 Dispatcher to be released...who knows!JohnP 2.53 GHZ512 RAMWINXPGFORCE 4 128MB Ti4600http://homepage.eircom.net/~eamonnmca/images/logo_ba.JPGwww.bavirtual.co.uk Senior Captain Simflight.com Staff Reviewerhttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg
October 23, 200322 yr This issue came up on the Fsbuild forum recently and caused us to create a few PMDG 737 route samples with the fuel planning information from Fsbuild2.http://www.fsbuild.com/dl/fsb2samples.zip You can try them out and do a burn comparison and see if maybe Fsbuild's fuel planner would be satisfactory for your purpose.Regards.Ernie.
October 23, 200322 yr I use FSBuild for my fuel planning with the NG. It gives very good results. The nice thing is if you utilize weather programs such as activesky or fsmeteo, you will get adjustments in the fuel plaaning based off of the wind conditions. Quite nice.
October 23, 200322 yr I have to echo this point also. The fuel plan function in FSBuild V2 is just about perfect. Back in my PIC767 days using the 767 Dispatch program the fuel burns were very good, but the accuracy difference between the PIC Dispatch and the FSBuild fuel plan for the 737NG is just as accurate.CheersBob Johnson
