October 24, 200322 yr You have Engine Anti-ice set to ON in the overhead panel. I guess that the warning is a result from that. Not sure about the gyro flag though. I /Tord Hoppe, Sweden
October 24, 200322 yr Hello Adrian, regarding the anti-ice light illuminating on the glareshield panel that's correct. It illuminates when you turn anti-ice on.If you want the master caution light to go off click on the big yellow "Master Caution" button and it'll go off. For the gyro red flag on the standby instrument place the mouse cursor on the left of the little knob and click until it is in the off position. Can't quiet clearly see where it's placed from the pic.Regards,Bjorn
October 24, 200322 yr I tried to remove it with the TAI on or off, it made no difference. The only way to cure it so far was to change sim time to night time, then turn on the panel lights. This seemd to work.
October 24, 200322 yr Bjorn,This is not a normal indication. When it IS working properly the anti ice light is not illuminated, to get it to light up in flight turn one of the pitit heaters off and you'll see what i mean. The gyro was working perfectly in all respects except for the failure flag. See my previous post as to how I got rid of it.Thanks for the reply :-)
October 24, 200322 yr Adrian,I think this is the correct behaviour of the EAI (Engine Anti Ice)lights. When the EAI SOV (Shut Off Valve) is open the respective EAI light is dimly lit. When in transition or when the SOV disagree with the switch it will be brightly lit. And finally when the SOV is closed the lit is extinguished.TGIF, :-beerchug Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
