Aircraft stalls just after rotate (possable v speed bug...

Featured Replies

Hi guys...Just installed the PMDG and it looks a great aircraft.. but I am having some very strange troubles. I have downloaded a tutorial by Fred Clausen (KDEN-KLAX), which looks pretty simple. I have followed the tutorial word for word, and am totally sure the FMC is programmed correctly, with all v speeds correct etc. Just after I rotate the nose, the speed of the aircraft plummets, and I am left fighting the controls trying to get out of a stall. I have to manually disconnect the autothrottle - but even thats not much help.Something else I noticed. Look at this screenshot i made(just before I pushed TO/GA), and look where I have circled the v speed indicator on the main glass screen #1. Should it be zero? Im starting to think this could be the problem with it. I have reinstalled the plane 2 times now (with service patch 1), but with no success. http://staticfish0.users.btopenworld.com/737.jpgPlease help! :)Many thanksDan

Hi Dan, Are you running FS2002 or COF or both? During the install process, did any window pop up telling you it could not locate a file etc? Did you correctly put check marks next to the proper FS you are installing in the 737 NG setup window? Ifc you had errors, re-installing over will not fix it (if this is your problem), you will need to use the REMOVER TOOL first, then re-installhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/downloads/..._737_REMOVE.EXE After that install the original base follwed by this patchhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/downloads/...ation_SU1-1.ZIPCheers, [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Hi Dan,When you feel you are proficient enough on Fred's tutorial I can highly recommend a tutorial made by Tim Metzinger which is a bit more comprehensive. Do a search in the library using Metzinger and tutorial and you'll get some hits.BTW. Are you the staticfish seen in the AVC Beta Forum as well?TGIF,
