November 18, 200322 yr Hi guys,I'm looking for a SID/STAR file for Linate airport, Milane, on behalf of one of my fellow VA-collegues! If someone got a good working one it would be much appreciated if you could reply to this call and attach the file as well.Deadline for this request: Nov 21 Thanks in advance, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
November 18, 200322 yr Hi Mats, actually I've also looked myself for some SID/STARs for both LIMC and LIML, but haven't found any since SU update 1.1. The very first ones that were made available were really messed up so practically useless.Since I've known that SU 2 would be changing and simplifying the syntax I haven't bothered getting into making some since I don't have the time. The best bet in this case is to request either radar vectors or to print out the departure charts and input manually into the FMC the major waypoints that make up the sid and use them as back-up and use raw data to fly the SID as I've been doing. If I come up with some info or find someone that has them available I'll let you know.Best regards,Bjorn

November 19, 200322 yr Hello MatsI've just finished the LIMC file and uploaded it to my site. Any major problems let me know and I'll try to correct it. I'll update it for SU2 when the time comes. I'm back to work tonight until the weekend but will pop into the forum from time to time to see if there any issues. Its quite a large file as I have tried to include the transitions, if you select a rwy first before selecting the sid/trans, it will greatly reduce the list to search through.I have included very few height restrictions as most are at or above. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/simon.butler2...usefulfiles.htmSimon
November 19, 200322 yr Hello Mats and Simon,I found this site thanks to a fellow Italian simmer that pointed it out to me.All major Italian airports are listed.I've tried a couple of SIDs out of LIML (Linate) and they are very precise. Here's the link: http://smart.tin.it/amaxliea/SID/sid.htm Best regards,Bjorn
