737 FMC

Featured Replies

To anyone who knows:Just a few quick questions, -first has Microsoft released any kind of updates or patches for FS 2004? -Second, what are some essential files to have for FS 2004 that you would recommend? -And finally, I just bought PMDG 737NG and I was wondering how to work the FMC, I would type in an airport identifier and then click on the the departure LSK (during fmc init) like KSTL and it would say "not in database". Your help would be appreciated. Thanks,Jeff

1.No2.FSUIPC,FsBuild3:You need to download the Airac cycle from www.navdata.atMake a folder called FMCWP in the fs9 folder and extract the files from the Airac into that folder.4.And do yourselves a favour....read the README files and the Manual. Also I recommend you to download the NG tutorials from the Avsim library!!!!Johnny"I'LL BE BACK"[div align=center]http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/josve/zone.jpg ][/div

-No, no updates from M$ even though there needs to be.-Go try some of the water FX files out, they really enhance the enviornment. Beyond that, the NG is an essential piece of software ;-) I don't fly much else, so I can't tell you whats good.-Search the avsim file library for a tutorial by me(Fred Clausen) or Tim Metziner(sorry, butchered the spelling I know :() Also, make sure to have the SID/STAR database installed, and also the navdata from www.navdata.at installed as well. That should resolve your particular FMC error :)
