delete 737 panel

Featured Replies

HelloIs there anyway to delete the 2d panel and replace by the default 737 panel ???thank you

You need to sign your name on this forum thank you. Sure, go to the FS9 aircraft folder and delete the complete PMDG aircraft and then load up the default 737, there you go ;) Seriously though, no you cannot, a better question is why would anyone want to.. No i'm not a "real" pilot, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

" Seriously though, no you cannot, a better question is why would anyone want to.."Actually I did and it works fine, as for why I did it.... the 2d pannel eats my frames rates. So untill I build my computer (should be a long wait till febuary) I have opted to go with the sucky stock panel. It is funny that if I take out the 2d panel I get better frame rates. and for an experiment I did the same thing with the VC Cab version and now I have cool wing views... I hope SU2 Really is better on frame rates...

FYI David, it's not the *PANEL* that is the frame rate issue, it's those beautiful displays. This is simply a price one has to pay to have this complex of a design..................[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/betaimg.jpg

True Randy, But with and old computer, it runs slow anyway.I have like everything on 0, zero, nada, nothing, zip.And it is still slow. So I know it tis just the computer.Altho since the 737 is so outstandingly good, it hits frame rates anyway. Example, If I load a stock plane, any one of them, set the sliders all the way to the right, I get about my close to norm, about 10 FPS. I usualy get 15. But when I slide all the sliders to the left, and load the 737, I get a whoping 4 FPS. Don't get me wrong, not complaining, infact it gave me the extra push to build my computer.Oh and if I view the plane from the outside I get about 8 FPS... not as slow but slow... anyway I put up with it cause it is fun starting the plane and programing the FMC... well it will be once I get the FMC down.
