since the server is still officially down and seeing as how i am able to access the PMDG home page, does this perhaps mean that the update has been moved onto a diffrent server with say a higher bandwith???callum

Callum-We're in the process of making changes to the server to improve it's stability under the kind of load it is receiving right now...That means taking it down for modifications- bringing it back up to see if it's stable, taking it back down etc...We're working a software side problem- so as you can imagine it's a bit like hunting geese in a blind.... we need the right data to pass in front of us to validate our suspicions... ;-)(And when we see it- we'll shoot it dead!
