Express 1900D -- Can't Open Rear Cargo Door

Featured Replies

Great aircraft!Using the SHIFT+E+2 command in the documentation to open the rear cargo door doesn't work.SHIFT+E opens the main exit, but adding the 2 doesn't open the rear door. Tried variations in timing on the keystrokes, but no luck.I'm using a MS Natural Multimedia USB keyboard.Any help appreciated.

Bambi,As per forum rules pinned on top of the forum, you are required to use your real name when signing posts in the PMDG forum.Flight Simulator sometimes gets a little funky when it comes to opening and closing the doors. Many users have had success in assigning a single key command to the doors, so instead of shift-e, people have assigned just E, or D, or whatever key suits you.Give it a shot.VinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg

Hey Vin,Sorry for the name....just used my AVSIM login.I'll try assigning another key as you suggested. Thanks,Otis Sykes

I can't get it open either. Show up for one of my flight's with luggage and TO BAD!Sandy :-)

The way I get around this is to use a button on my controller. I am using the HOTAS Cougar (a lot of buttons to choose from), and if I select one button to be the door (equivilant to shift+e), then press the 2,3,4 key it works everytime. This also worked for me when I used the Microsoft Sidewinder FFB.Give it a try....Kevin
