February 27, 200422 yr Hi I just purchased the 737NG. I put it on my 2.7G AMDXP with a TI4600 128Meg Video Card. I have 512M of Ram as well on a Nvidia Mother board. 6FPS is the best I can get with I would call it graphics set in Flight Sim to around 75% of max. I was getting around 40 FPS with other 737's. So I put the program on my laptop which is a dell P4 2.8G, 64Meg of Ram, and laptops are hardly gaming machines and I'm getting 25 FPS. My 2.7 AMD should be a lot faster than the laptop. ANYONE have a clue as to why not. The laptop's graphics settings for FS2004 are around 50% of max. I am using the 737-700 in 2D mode. Anyone have any idea as to what I can do to fix this? I just purchased it so I have the latest release. I also have the latest FSUIPC registered. If 6 to 10 FPS is the best I can get I feel I have wasted $39 bucks.Bill (very disappointed)

February 27, 200422 yr I have a slower processor than yours, ultimate traffic installed, simflyers scenery add-ons, detailed clouds disabled of course, antialiasing 2*, and everything else to 75 - 80 % and I'm not getting the frames you speek about. When I fly with Lago sceneries I get even better frames like 20fps in cockpit view, more in spot view.David http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/64920.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/64921.jpg David
February 27, 200422 yr I have a lower system than yours, and yes in external view the frames can be awful at for instance simwings Madrid scenery...But I cannot agree with you that you should have severe problems with a 2700AMD system!Boaz...
February 28, 200422 yr Well gang, I did a complete removal and reinstallation of FS2004 and the performance is OUTSTANDING. Finally the performance model and cockpit of my 737 dreams. I am however running a homebuilt simulator with Projectmagenta but the functionality and performance of this aircraft is wonderful. Great job guys on the work and thanks for the replies.Wonderful job PMDG. I had all of your Fly II aircraft and you picked up right where you left off... Looking forward to your 747.Bill
