Download Question

Featured Replies

Hi,Not sure what the following on the sales page exactly means:"For this file, you may ONLY use the download manager Download Accelerator Plus (DAP)."Does it mean it is the only possible way of downloading or does it mean this is the only possible download manager to use ? In other words, could I download using my web browser ? Does anyone have an idea about the possible download data rate for this ? (Just to get an idea whether not using a download manager has a good chance to succeed. I am on cable and if the server and the route in between is not too slow it shouldn't be a problem.)Regards,Siggy

It means the only download manager supported is DAP. It'll download fine using a normal browser :)With cable I imagine you'd get the file quite quickly.. no need for DAP ;)

Thanks John, can I then use your QF livery on the latest version of the 737NG even though it was done for the initial release (the one from the AVSIM library) ?Regards,Siggy

Thanks John, that's great. Just wanted to order but then got stopped by a non-secure ordering page that asked for my credit card number. Isn't there a secure page where I can enter the number or any other way (fax ?) to send the payment details ? (Fax is a lot harder to intercept).Regards,Siggy

You are right, mate. I went back and found that the entry form is a separate frame and that one is secure. It just was not obvious that this is a separate frame. Too late for today, but I'll go ahead tomorrow. Thanks for all your replies.Cheers,Siggy
