March 13, 200422 yr Gents; Attempting to fly into KABQ, I am unable to set the published MDA (5510 ft) in the baro mins. They are capped at 2500...only the radar alt mins should be limited to 2500. Also, having to single-click my way from 0 to 5400 ft when setting the landing field elevation on the cabin press controller is exceedingly tedious...holding down the mouse key shuld allow rapid slew of the value...or perhaps right-clicking in increments of 1000 ft.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Washington, D.C. March 13, 200422 yr Just go to the legs page on you FMC and find the runway entry, notice which LSK button it is. Then, in the scratch pad type your speed/altitude and enter it into the plan by pressing the LSK key that corrisponds with the runway. Example 160/5510 in the pad. Your autothrottle will disengage at about fifty feet above the runway. If you need to make a missed approach you gotta give it theottle and then engage autothrottle and AP etc.Regards
March 14, 200422 yr Thanks for the reminder, Bob. These problems were mentioned during beta testing of the last version but seem to have escaped the attention of the programmers ;-) (Hopefully something can be done about them in the -800/-900 series)?Cheers.Ian.
