>I have a DELL Laptop. AM I better to use the latest DELL>rpovided drivers, or the latest NVidia?I recommend using the Dell drivers. The performance might be a little better with the new ones (talking about +/- 2 FPS with FS9... that's what I got), but my TV-Out for example only works correctly with the official Dell 44.87 and there are some other issues as well.Regards,Holger.

On my system, all of the 56.xx drivers to date cause FS2004 to freeze if you have the card AA set to greater than 2X and try to "print screen" in full-screen mode. Even 2X causes about a 3 second freeze. Also, I get looks of funny looking flashes/cross-hatch patterns when FS2004 loads. But, it runs ok until you try "print screen" in full screen mode with AA set.nVidia is supposed to be aware of this but I don't know for sure. See the forums at guru3d.com for more info on the 56.64 drivers.

Hi Gav,Just wondering what laptop you have?I am running the 737NG on an Inspiron 8600 1.5mhz with the Nvidia 5650 card - always keen to know others successes with frame rates on this.It seems I can get about 30 FPS sitting on the runway at Chiang Mai with the Chiang Mai addon scenery, everything turned up to the max, 1900x1200 resolution, in vitual cockpit with Ultimate Traffic running - BUT, this is only in the default aircraft, say a Beech or Mooney and WITHOUT cloud. As soon as I throw PMDG's 737 and some cloud of any type into the equation, my frame rate can drop to about 7fps.I've considered a driver update for a while, but can't seem to find them on the Dell websites or anywhere else. What's your experience with this?Cheers,Dave
