Battery and Recirc Fan Sound

Featured Replies

Hi to all. I am one major fan of the 737NG aircrafts and I really enjoy flying them. However, I do get really annoyed by the sound made from the battery and recirc fan.So my question is simple: How can you stop it? Which is the relative sound file that I can rename so as the sounds are not heard in the cockpit? Thanks for your helpMarinos

Hey Marinos,The sound files for those sounds are:PMDG_electrics.wavPMDG_fans.wavLocated in:SoundPmdg737tngHope this helps :)David

Why not make it silent/er? Over PMDG menu, styles...those are very realistic sounds for the background...

Good call Costa, I'd forgot about that option.CheersDavid

I went for the disable option from the menu. Thanks for your prompt answers!Really appreciate it!:))

What about those annoying change altimeter and start engine prompts?how do you get rid of those?regards Rob

It would be nice if it would be possible to reduce (not compeletely cutting away) those electric/fan noises... it's TOOOOO quiet without them once used... I know they are right that loud but I just can't use sepakers for noises and the headset for the online ATC :) Thank you, LucaPS: as for the flying tips it should be: aircraft -> realism -> show flying tips
