March 25, 200422 yr HiI like to know if it's fully compatible Go-flight modules with 737 PMDG via new FSUIPC specially GF-MCP Advanced Autopilot?? Thank you David
March 25, 200422 yr Hi,Yes it is!!I use the MCP and the RP48 for the autopilot functions and some display fonctions. There was a problem with the TQ6 throttle that has just been fixed. It takes a little time to map everything but the result is really worth it. The only thing is that the plane will not "talk" to the MCP so the display will not be updated. When you use it, it is not a big deal since you can easily read the autopilot functions on the screen. You need, off course, a registered version of FSUIPC.Olivier

March 25, 200422 yr He means that the LED numbers on the Go-Flight MCP will NOT change as with the default aircraft. The autopilot numbers on the screen will though. Phil Brown
March 26, 200422 yr So all LED numbers on go-flight MCP are all flight the same? (With PMDG). If yes, the radio modules GF-166 and GF-46 it's the same or this numbers changing???? Thank you David

If yes, the radio modules GF-166 and GF-46 it's>the same or this numbers changing???? >>Thank you David>I'm going to make a guess here....If you use the Go-Flight Drivers for FS, the GF 166 radio module will work correctly, as it reads the information from flight sim to drive the LED displays.Using the MCP with the go flight drivers will work with all the default aircraft. But the PMDG doesn't use the FS commands or registers to set it's MCP values. That's where FSUIPC comes in. With FSUIPC, you can read an action on the GoFlight MCP (like turning a knob) and map that to a keystroke. Then you can assign the keystroke to a PMDG function (like changing the MCP speed). So it works like thisKnob turn ===>FSUIPC Generates keystroke====>PMDG responds to keystroke. This communication is one way, so there's no way to send the MCP speed value back to the MCP.
March 26, 200422 yr I understand the MCP speed value (IAS/MACH), but when I change the CRS, HDG, VERT SPD and ALT, can I see both LED display change (Go-flight GF-MCP and 737 PMDG)?????Thank You David
March 26, 200422 yr Display will change on the MCP but will not reflect the real value. For instance, the default altitude on the 737 is 10000 feet. The default value on the MCP is 00000.If you change the altitude using the GoFlight MCP, the altitude indicated on the GoFlight will be 5000 whereas the altitude on the screen (and the real one) will be 15000 feet.In other words, the display on the GoFlight MCP is useless but it is no big deal.If you are stuck, you can drop me a mail and we can meet on MSN for instance to do the mapping.Good luckOlivier
