Probably a bit cheeky of me to ask this now, can't wait for the 738/9 but..........wonderin' if you guys have any ideas yet for the next Express a/c? No, did I hear you say, well you'll be glad to know that your helpfull fans no doubt have plenty of suggestions :7 .My personal choice would be the ERJ145 or CRJ.Feel free to gut me for posting this now, but the thought had been going round my mind alot lately, needed to get it off my chest.Keep up the good work all, looking forward to those ERJ's.TonyGlasgow, UKEGPF

yea an ERJ would be awesome!jason

Vin I think when you guys are ready you should put up a poll so that way it would give you an idea of which ones every one is looking for. I am personally looking for the dash-8.

www.feelthere.comLooks like it's gonna be an impresive simulation of the CRJ family(all versions).John http://homepage.eircom.net/~eamonnmca/images/logo_ba.JPGwww.bavirtual.co.uk Senior Captain Simflight.com Staff Reviewer

Looks good, but i'm always sceptical about the less well known payware developers. It took me a while to trust anything that wasn't PSS. So pleased i did though PMDG is much better so i'd fork out for any jet product you guys make, I decided turboprops aren't for me, got the PSS Dash-8 and although the package is excellent I just can't get used to flyin' it.For the guy after the Dash though, have a look at the PSS website. My vote's still for a PMDG ERJ.TonyGlasgow, UKEGPF

A new shiny Baron would be nice. I'd settle for a Bonanza. Key is good instruments worthy of IFR instead of the FS horrible level gauges.I don't see any real purpose in a Jet as basically they are just substandard levels of what you get in the 737. Glass is Glass.Ray

Tony,I have contemplated the PSS version but I think I would probably feel much more satisfied if I knew that Vin and Lefteris designed it. I know that these guys will be there with any support that would need to be made, and I also would like to see it designed to work with FS9 instead of patched to work with it. I have not personaly owned any packages other than the PMDG and the DF737 so I can only go to those that I know will give me the greatest bang/quality for my buck.

I think the best planes to make for the next Express would be either an Embraer 145 or a BAe 146...----------------------Hopefully the first person to buy the PMDG 737-800 :D

Vin,I like the pinned poll idea. Letting the customers provide input in the selection process is a great way to survey the marketplace. However, IMO, the key to the B1900D's success is that it fits a market niche. It has an outstanding model and cockpit, combined with the ability to integrate another vendor's gauges to enhance the default gauges.Limiting the Express aircraft series to those aircraft that do not have overly complex systems helps meet the expectations for the greatest number of customers, leaving very few customers wanting more. The lower price point of the Express product line creates an major "bang for the buck" in the add-on market. However, I feel there are certain aircraft types that may be detrimental to the scope of the Express product line. For example, jet commuter aircraft. Would a CRJ external model and default gauges satisfy most users of your products, even if 3rd party gauges could be installed? Would an accurately modeled autopilot and FMC need to be developed for a CRJ or ERJ to meet user expectations, especially when other developers are providing them? Does PMDG want to develop FMCs for Express aircraft? Food for thought when it comes to allowing users to suggest aircraft models.PMDG has created a reputation where users expect only the very best products, and rightly so considering what PMDG has released to date.Regards,Bruce Nicholson

Guess I got confused by the Express philosophy. I assumed the express product line would be for a/c flown by 'Express' carriers. Silly me. Maybe PMDG could be convinced to do an ERJ after the 744.TonyGlasgow, UKEGPFP.S. Jeremy, I know how you feel about the PSS patches, I get more and more dissapointed with the quality of PSS products nowadays, especially in comparison to what PMDG put out. But the Dash-8 was still a good package for FS2K2, haven't gotten round to downloading it for 2K4 yet.

ERJ-145 after the 744 forget Express ;-)-Paul
