March 27, 200422 yr Was wondering what most PMDG users do when flying the 737NG. I like being able to talk to ATC etc but I dont like being put on redundant headings, not using SID/STARS, descents at wrong times etc etc. So what is most user's solution to this? Alex P.
March 27, 200422 yr I don't fly online, so I just fly my route and get a flight following from the ARTCCs so I have something to interact with for traffic and such. Although, the traffic alerts are useless for class E aircraft. Usually they tell you when the other plane is about 1 mile away or no longer a threat LOLChris - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
March 27, 200422 yr Lol yeah thats why I can't wait for TCAS2. I just did a flight without any ATC and I got an overspeed disconnect because the FMC descended to late. The only reason that I use the default ATC is because they tell me when to descend at the right time. -Alex P.
March 28, 200422 yr I tried FS's ATC and hated it! I have not flown VATSIM much at all but I know it's the way to go and will do that after the 800 is released. For now I fly from any RNWY SID+STAR I like without the headache of FS's ATC making changes I see fit.. [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J.
