April 25, 200422 yr Is the fuel calculator going to add the 800/900? And also, where it ask for head winds, what do you do for tail winds. I tried putting in a negative number. I've seen other calculators that calculate for tail winds. John K
April 25, 200422 yr If you use R. Carlson's calculator then you aren't able to type a negative number.It's mostly better if you take a bit of extra fuel in case of unexpected weather or something. Because only head wind requires more fuel but tail doesn't require less fuel.I hope this works.
