2D cockpit skewed

Featured Replies

I use a widescreen monitor set at 1280x800. This was never a problem with the 736/7 - the panled looked beautiful. Now that I've upgraded to the 8/900, the 2D panels are "flattened" form top to bottom a bit oto much. What's changed since the 1.3 release, and is there a way I can vorrect this?Pictures attached.Gavinhttp://www.interprom.com/gavhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpgSpellink doesn't count!!http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/73342.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/73343.jpg

Have you tried using a res of 1280x960 or 1280x1024?

Not an option -and again, this wasn't an issue in the previous 6/700.To be honest - the Cockpit looks EVEN BETTER flattened a bit!!!Gives a bit more of a "through the glaresheild" perspective feeling - but the FMC is noticibly flattened and a bit harder to work with. PMDG - it's alright to change the window size settings in the CFG file, isnt' it?Gavinhttp://www.interprom.com/gavhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpgSpellink doesn't count!!

Gavin-though I've never had the luxury of a 1280x800 monitor myself, I'd assume you'd be able to resize the FMC window - wouldn't you?Cheers,
