May 2, 200422 yr Hello guys and maybe from what I read a token girl (I'm not sure if its one of those pmdg guys in drag?). Here is my question/ Bought the 800/900 and not having the best vision in the world find the new radio stack harder to read than the old. Is it possible to install the 800/900 but keep the old radio stack for the 600/700. I have many of the issue on the forum (especially the frame rate) so I have removed the 800 for now but when I reinstall later I don't want to touch the 600/700. Any ideas? Hope this makes senseregards Robert
May 2, 200422 yr Hi RobertMay I suggest you change the size of your radio panel? You have to do it in the panel.cfg in both the panel folder as well as in the panel.vc folder.I've changed the following lines in the PMDG_RADIO_STACK_PANEL section in the panel.cfg //size_mm=625,600size_mm=800,768//gauge00=PMDG_737NG_Main!RadioStack, 0, 0, 625, 600gauge00=PMDG_737NG_Main!RadioStack, 0, 0, 800, 768The first lines starting with // are the original ones. Note that the ratio is kept. 625/600 equals 800/768. This to avoid distortion.THIS IS DONE ON YOUR OWN RISK. PMDG DOES NOT SUPPORT ANY TWEAKS FROM THE ORIGINAL CONFIGURATION.Cheers, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
May 3, 200422 yr Or another way would be to run in windowed mode and undock the radio panel and then re-size it. If you do it like Mats said you will always have it the size you set in the panel cfg whereas this way you will need to undock and set each time you enter the sim.[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J.
