Hi,I have the boxed-version:PMDG 737 600/700 VERSION 1.30RELEASE VERSION 1/14/04 BUILD 80 - 0300Z(from aerosoft)and the download-version:PMDG 737 800/900 VERSION 1.00RELEASE VERSION 24APR04 BUILD 30 - 0600Z"PMDG_737_NEXT_GEN_800_900.ZIP" (45.639 KB)The FS9 (engl. Vers., FS9-Path: E:FS2004)is running on Windows XP Home Edition-SP1I read already the readme.txt and all thethreads in this forum (incl. topic #47699)regarding installation-problems with the737-800/900.I accomplished the tips written there, like re-installing the 600/700, deletingthe FS9.cfg......but it's not possible, to installthe 800/900, I always get the message, that I have to install the PMDG 737 NG first!?;-(So it would be very nice, if somebody couldhelp me to install it successful. Thanks in advanceMichael

Hi Vin,thank you for your quick reply!I sent you a mail with the description of my troubles...Good night!MichaelGermany

Wel it appears that your default FS2004 location (E: insted of C:) is an issue for the installer IMO.[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/betaimg.jpgAMD 64 3200+ | ASUS KV8 DELUXE | GFORCE 5700 ULTRA @535/1000 | WD SATA 80 GIG | 512 DDR 400 |

Hi Randy,do you seriously mean that the install-routineof the 737-800/900 can only find the 737-600/700if the FS9 is installed into the default folder"C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9"... !?Or what do you otherwise mean with "E: insted of C is an issue for the installer" ?Nevertheless, I will await Vin's answer...Best wishesMichael

Hi Randy, only for your information:the problem is solved by Robert/PMDG via priv. mail. The Windows-Registry "lost" the FS9-Informations,so the 737-800/900 install routine could'nt findthe position of the simulator...(Don't ask me why that could happen)Nevertheless, I re-installed the FS9 over the existing one, that was it...!Thanks again for the quick and professional help to PMDG!CiaoMichael
