I've just finished installing (flawlessly) the two products i've both.First impression: astonishingly wonderful!Everything user configurable, even colours!I did a fast roundrobin flight to check everything, and i had some glitches i'd like some explanations for:1) takeoff speeds: i have my 800 loaded to 136klbs ZFW (173klbs GW). Now what weight should i reference in the charts? GW or ZFW?2) during the approach, a light come on (did it twice and it came on twice) on the air conditioning panel, is it normal? it says "off (unreadable) descent"3) lower eicas: it is always blank (black), is it normal? For now: wonderfull aircraft!I even tried the engine fire, and it is awesome!

You can CHEAT after you have entered all data on the PERF INIT & TAKEOFF REF pages (BOXES are manditory --- are optional) then simply rightclick on the top 3 right LSKs (Line Select Keys on TAKEOFF REF page) to have the FMC generate your V SPDs automatically displayed for you. (NOTE: some real NGs actually have them generated and some do not).2) during the approach, a light come on (did it twice and it came on twice) on the air conditioning panel, is it normal? it says "off (unreadable) descent" Yes you need to set the cruise altitude and landing altitudes on the upper panel.3) lower eicas: it is always blank (black), is it normal? It certainly is. The real lowers are always blank until one pushes the SYS or ENG buttons on the MFD.[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. First off welcome to the forum. While you are here, please take a read of the pinned post on top of this forum entitled PMDG Forum Guidelines. You must sign each post in the PMDG forum with your real name according to PMDG forum Guidelines. Thank you.Ok.. onto the answers.1) Takeoff is always GROSS WEIGHT. (You can avoid using the charts by clicking on the V speed LSKs after initializing the weights in the FMC....it'll put them there automatically)2) Off Path Descent means that you initiated a descent that was not in keeping with the program controls on the pressurization system. The handling of this issue is described in the manual.3) You need to go into the PMDG menu>Styles. Select over/under Eicas. Then, using the MFD buttons seen below, you can alter the lower display.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/74545.jpgBest,VinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg
