Possible to make date of liveries searchable?

The livery collection is getting quite large. Is it possible to make the "date added" field searchable? When I enter 5/4/2004 into the search area, for example, I get no hits. I think this would make it easier to find what's new rather than having to hunt through each page. Alternatively, give the user a choice to sort by airline, date, etc.Thanks.
