May 7, 200422 yr Hi, simmers.I have posted this question in other FS9 forums but, so far, no one gave me a working answer...FS9 and many downloaded documentation tells that after you start Push Back, if you hit "1 or 2", your ship will turn left or right.I've tried all kinds of key combinations: , or and others, to no avail.I must be very stupid, so help is more needed than for someone intelligent...Thanks for any help.Sergio - BPilot
May 7, 200422 yr The default pushback, shift+P 1/2 will not work with most addon aircraftThe PMDG737 has it's own assignable pushback controlsAfter starting FS, select PMDG from the menu, then 737NG, General, Keyboard Commands, select Pushback in the Command Category box, assign you key controlsI find Shift+F1 works good for back/leftShift+F2 for back/rightmatthew
May 7, 200422 yr The default key assignment in Fs9 for pushback control conflicts with panel keys, namely, SHFT+P+2 is read as SHFT + P and SHFT+2 which says pushback AND a panel toggle.Severals ways to get around that:1) modify default key assignments in FS9 for pushback to remove the shift from the equation.2) use the PMDG key assignments in the PMDG drop down menu (only works for PMDG though)3) use the pushback gauge by Rob Barenbregt (spelling) on the AVSIM library (do a search on pushback gauge). That will also give you a taxi gauge and a few other things.
May 7, 200422 yr Sergio,PSS aircraft also suffer this problem. The answer is to re-assign the push back command.I use 'P'and '1' quickly for pushback to the left and '2' for right. To re-asign the 'Pause' to 'Tab' enables full push back for all ad-on aircraft.Dave.If it burns Kerosene and makes a noise, I'm interested. Dave Taylor
