May 9, 200422 yr I do have one little question that even isn't a problem for me.About the range rings, I know that if you select in the styles menu range rings on that they are show up on the ND but you can't turn them of again or have to select them of in the styles menu.Is this real behavior or is there a way to turn them of and on without going to the styles menu???? In the prev. NG version you could push on the WX button at the EFIS panel and then they show up or go of...thanks,
May 9, 200422 yr No. Range rings are part of some NG's ND and some others only have the range dots. Because of the different Configs for various airlines it had to become a menu option.[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. May 9, 200422 yr Author So you mean if I select them on in the styles menu and then Select TFC on in the EFIS, that I don't can turn them of again without selecting TFC off....thats fine by me, as long as I get the most realistic style for HF. :)Thanks,
May 9, 200422 yr Yes. The TCAS RINGS are really not very good on the sim IMO. They are too obstructing of the ND's elements. The TCAS DOTs are found on many NGs like West Jet Airlines and do not mess with the view on the ND. So both are realistic, it's just a matter of which you prefer.[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J.
