May 9, 200422 yr What format should the "TAIL" textures on the B1900, 737 -600/700 be saved in?The *.bmp 32-bit format I use on the fuselage/engines and wings appear perfectly, yet the tail appears blurred when in this format.The pmdg nade tails appear to be 32-bit but no blurring....am I missing something?
May 9, 200422 yr The textures for the tail that is blurring are probably saved with "mip maps" these mipmaps cause the immense blurring on the texture when seen in FS2004.Use either Imagetool or DXTbmp to remove these mip maps and save them as 32bit bmps.
May 9, 200422 yr correction: shouldn't.It does appear to be a mip problem.... but for some reason they reappear when converting back to 32-bit bmp.It's also strange it's just the tail textures that are effected by this.
