May 18, 200422 yr FS Flight Keeper comes with a pretty cool ACARS. Check it out at http://www.molitor-home.de/fs/FLKeeper/default.asp.I provides a heap of flight information without having to leave the cockpit, for instance, check out the destination weather, flight plan, airport facilities, in flight events, etc.Regards, Steven.http://www.vozvirtual.org/images/pmdgforumsignature.png
May 18, 200422 yr Steven,Does that program work well with the ACARS in the PMDG 737-800/900? I just checked out the screenies and it looks pretty interesting!Regards,Rob Rob Sciarrino
May 18, 200422 yr Rob,it doesn't integrate itself into PMDG's ACARS (if this is what you meant). I have bought Flight Keeper 2 last week and it really is a big help for me, it's also cool to review your flight afterwards as Flight Keeper logs all kind of things and also gives you a flight rating...ACARS itself is more useful for virtual airlines. Pilots can transmit ACARS reports to their virtual headquarters (if the VA has chosen Flight Keeper as their Pirep-system).So I'd say ACARS itself is something that's only useful when flying for a VA or flying online at least. The other features of Flight Keeper (flight planning, moving map, logging, rating system, weather information, ...) can be used online or offline.regards,Joerg
