Hello All - Hopefully i'm not asking a repetitive question, but is there a way to have the landing gear camera view (such as the one from the PMDG website) show up on the instrument panel? Disregard - All registered, just needed a reinstall!

I tried to activate the product, the activation screen loaded, couldn't type anything,, then crashed. Since then I haven't been able to load it. Should I reinstall and try again? Thanks, Rob Sciarrino

More of curiosity vs. question Are there any sound effects (except for contacting GND CREW) when using the Cabin Inter-phone? I hear the "Cabin Ready" chime when taxing for T/O and on short final. I was thinking this chime was heard more frequently. Thanks!

If I considered buying 2 more additional monitors (to total 3) and triple head 2 go, will it "over tax" my 550 gpu? Thoughts?

My wife would kill me.. .a little far out of my price range

Greetings all, This weekend I plan on upgrading my display for FSX. I currently use a Acer 23'' monitor, but I'm trying to decide if I should go to 3 monitors, or just one Large 32" (or bigger)? I'm currently running AMD Phenon x4 3.4ghz Nvida 560ti 8gb RAM Toshiba SSD 256gb Drive (FSX) If i go with a larger monitor overall, are there any suggestions? Anything in particular I should avoid? I've heard with multiple monitors the frame rates suffer.... Thanks in advance!

My guess it was something procedural or I clicked something incorrectly. I tried moving IRSs to off then back on. I believe my service based failures are turned off. I'll see if I can reproduce tonight Thanks all!

Greetings All - Last evening I was planning a flight from KBWI to KBUF as normal and ran across something I couldn't fix. For some reason, the Captain NAV displays showed correct navigation information on the CDUs. However, the F/O's displays showed the "generic" displays with no heading or navigational information (Speed, Heading, VS, etc). I honestly don't know what I did and what I could have done to correct the issue. I loaded the 737NGX Cold & Dark Turned on the batteries Connected GPU Turned on External Power Set IRSs to Align/NAV Entered IRS position in MCDU Captains Displays updated but FO's did not. Any thoughts? I was really confused because I couldn't correct it. So on a whim, I decided to fly but could not engage autopilot (my guess is due to the FOs nav displays not being updated). I handflew the whole way to Buffalo so it was a win/win in the end Thanks in advance! See everyone on the forums during 777 release!

Greetings All - I'm considering going into a Multiple Monitor Setup. Either Dual or Triple. I've heard different sides of the coin, so hopefully I can get some good input. Current System Specs - AMD Phenom X4 965 3.4 (No O/C) ASUSTek M3a76-CM 8GB DDR2 (I'm guess DDR3 would be a better route) NVIDIA GTX 550TI 2GB Acer P23'' 1920x1080 FSX SP2 RC V4 ASE UT2 PMDG 737NGX Would it be safe to purchase another P23" hook into the GPU (second DVI port) and expand the desktop? If I wanted to go "triple" invest to a beefier graphics card? I also see the TripleHead2Go systems out there as well. What is the vibe on those setups? Is it even possible to expand the VC with the PMDG 737NGX between multiple monitors/streched desktop? Thanks in advance! Rob Sciarrino

Bryan - It's something with the speech recon. Different words pop up, but eventually "Shutdown Checklist" works. I have to say it 10-15 times, then he'll eventually catch on and start performing his flow.

Bryan - I'm wondeirng if it is a speech recognition issue. I'm definetly following the steps you mentioned.

Greetings All - I've noticed over the past few flights when I arrive at the gate (engines off, parking brake set), the F/O says "ready for shutdown". I reply with "Shutdown Checklist". The F/O 95% doesn't even respond. The other times he has. Am I missing a specific action or trigger to make him respond with the Shutdown Checklist? Thanks! Rob Sciarrino

Hello All - First v1.3 is working like a charm (Thanks Bryan!) My question is more of an operational one. Is it possible to mimic a single engine startup/taxi (as if most airlines are doing to conserve fuel) then start engine 2 close to the runway apron. I was trying to think of the checklist and flow logic, but wasn't sure it would end up working in my favor. Nothing big, just wondering if anyone has done it! Thanks!

Gary - I'm running into the same issue after the update. I had the volume cranked with no luck. Everything else is fine, but the FA disappeared.

I'm just curious what ppl's thoughts were on REX. I read the reviews and it seems like an awesome product. But, I'm wondering if it is even worth it since I already have Active Sky Evolution running, etc. Do you run both? Or one or the other? Thanks!

Hello All -First and foremost, I have been out of the PC upgrading/repair world for quite some time. I've become more of a Network Engineer with IP routing, Transport, etc. So forgive me if I seem "newbie" to PC hardware :)FSX has had its ups and downs on my PC. I think I've concluded that UT2 is a major contributor to the frame rate drop when approaching larger Airports. I've modified the FSX.cfg (based on the Bojote's Tweaking/Tuning tool) which helped GREATLY. I mainly fly the PMDG 737NGX along with RCv4, ASE, FSCrew and GSX.Any suggestions on what to upgrade without breaking the wallet? I've heard/read SSD's are the way to go, but I can see that being a pain when trying to move FSX files/addons etc over.Basic PC Specs -CPU - AMD II x2 245 Processor 2.90 Ghz o/c to 3.13 ghzRAM - 8.00 GB DDR2GPU - Nvidia GeForce GT220 w/1GbI'm guessing the Video Card needs to be upgraded, but I'd hate to do that to find out the CPU was the biggest culrpit.Thanks for the input!
