May 20, 200422 yr I have noticed this when I upgraded to the -800/-900 series. When I have made sure that both NAV radios are set to the same freq and the course selector is set and matches the course indicated by the EFIS display, APP is armed and both AP's are set everything is green. When LOC capture is initiated I get a warning "Single CH" and that warning stays until about GS capture where it once again says everything is "green" and good to go. It wasn't like this when I had only the 737NG. Should it be like this or have I missed something?I'm otherwise a very satisfied coustomer and think you guys are doing a great job!!!/Frederik Sonsky
May 20, 200422 yr This is real behavior, accordance to PMDG was the -600/7 types are wrong. They now fixed that and 1500AGL Single CH will change to CMD, you have to press the second AP before 800AGL
May 20, 200422 yr Ramon is correct. SINGLE CH is not a warning message. It just means -a: Currently you are in single channel mode for approach and landingb: It will stay displayed until 1500 RA IF you have the second CMD engaged at which time it is removed.c: If I happens to still be there below 800 RA it's up to you to perform a single ch autoland.....[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J.
