June 30, 200421 yr Hi!I don't know if you are working on items that follows but I have some things that must be corrected:1) elect hyd pump can supply hyd power for all surfaces with engines off (now is only possible to put out flaps with engines only)2) Stby pumps activates when flap override switch is on (alt flap) I don't remember exactly but it put slats directly into full ext. pos when flaps are not 03) flaps do not move unit per unit but in down position moves for the time you hold the switch, in up you can release switch and it will put full up the flaps.4) Fire module on p8 panel in vc is not interactive, if you can try to make a working fire warn module even in vc and put a better horn sound (if you want i can register sounds from b737 3/4005) If is possible install a light test switch in cockpit and a more real cabin light control (panel light, flood light, background...)Pmdg b737ng is a very good product and is near real plane, there are few bugs you must work for a fully working product.PS is possible to add no smoking and seat belts signs in cabin and the emer. lights?is also possible to design the galley light panels to illuminate the cabin?I know that are difficult to produce because limitation of fs.Thanks for your attention
June 30, 200421 yr For full realism i may add:-gen DISC switches to actually work (they do not at the moment)-fuel panel to be fixed (it works strangely)-emerg fire system to be fixed (sometime it works sometime it doesn't....)-aft overhead with IRS-copilot seat-a nice and friendly hostess serving coffee ;)
June 30, 200421 yr >Because the plane just doesn't fly without these things>:-roll>For full realism i may add::-roll :)
July 1, 200421 yr I also cannot feel the air conditioning blowing on my face when I turn it on. Now how real is that??Willhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg
July 1, 200421 yr And could you PLEASE model a co-pilot that does not insist on eating his lucnch in the cockpit... or at least, could you model one that eats soemthing other than egg salad. The air is not as "thin" up here as it should be! If you get my meaning.Ragards,Murray
July 1, 200421 yr Wow, you guys are being so defensive... They're just giving suggestions to make the add-on more realistic. No need to jump at them. If there were a reason, I'd be the first to, believe me. :-lolDPhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpgThe official psychotic AA painter. :)
July 1, 200421 yr "I also cannot feel the air conditioning blowing on my face when I turn it on. Now how real is that??"If you are too warm, Will, open the cockpit window :(Actually, we get complaints from real pilots if the airconditioning IS blowing on their faces. The equipment/instrument cooling system behind the main panels is supposed to circulate air around in there, but sometimes the air escapes through joins in the instrument panels, irritating the hell out of the crew (not only with the air blasting them, but by the accompanying whistling)Cheers.Ian.
July 1, 200421 yr I've used in wrong way the word reality, sorry for the error, but I want to help the developement of a really complex product even if I'm not a designer, i'm only 1 user having a dream, fly with the b737 (all models even 200 series with no screens except for radar).My suggestions if you review the post are divided in 2 steps... bugs found and not seen in other posts in this forum(other are speed brakes and vc, stab trim,irs not modelled,...)and my dreams such as cabin lights no smoking and seat belts,...A female crew member is the best you can build!!!!:-)Eaglesoft have a businnes woman in their CitationXIf you want I can add items such as fuel scavenge system, totally rebuild elec power systems, increase the cabin sounds and more other things such as gpws switches (the inibit switches and the test) working terrain display and wxrdisplay.....There are a lot of sys can be added, the previous are only some wondered add onsGreetingsAndrew
July 1, 200421 yr The PMDG 737NG's are the best in the market! Great addon.I think Paul is right here, takeoff acceleration needs tweaking. All models seem a little slow to accelerate to V1. Takeoff performance is not matching published takeoff chart performance. Floyd John Floyd
