Speaking of pushback

Featured Replies

Has anyone had any trouble with assigning a shortcut to "Pushback - Right" on the Shortcut dialog? For some reason, pushback right will only go left. Anyone else have this problem?Nick B.Continental Airlines 737NG Pilothttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg--AMD Athlon XP 3200+ @ 2.2 Ghz (Equal to 2.8 ghz)400W Power supply3x 80 mm Case FansSoyo VIA KT600 Dragon PlusnVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 mb2 x 512 PC400100 GB Western DigitalMicrosoft Sidewinder Precision 2

Nick, I assigned the 'K' key to the push back option in the PMDG dropdown menu. It works fine. If you want total contol over pushback and taxying get atngau11.zip from avsim. You can use your rudder to controls the direction of push back.

I had a similar problem with my air stairs, I could extend them, but not retract them. I figured out that active camera was using the assignment and the PMDG menu didn't override that, and didn't know of a conflict. I changed the assignment and it works great now. What I did for pushback left is: CTRL-SHIFT-~ and for pushback right, I have CTRL-SHIFT-BACKSPACE. It's easy to remember because if you want to go left, you use the left CTRL-SHIFT buttons and the ~ and for right, you use the right CTRL-SHIFT buttons. Preston G.

No problem at all - I have assigned SHIFT-L and SHIFT-R for these and they both work fine. I still use SHIFT P to go straight back on those long pushes to the line, then a SHIFT-R (twice usually as the first one stops the pushback) or SHIFT-L to turn the plane.http://ronnie.vandelaak.com/baw644.gif

I have assigned such keys:CTRL SHFT J - Pushback LeftCTRL SHFT K - Pushback without turningCTRL SHFT L - Pushback RightWorks just fine.

I just assigned the back, left and right arrows to them and they work great.

Hmm, get it's just me. Alright, now how do I control it with my rudder?Nick B.Continental Airlines 737NG Pilothttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg--AMD Athlon XP 3200+ @ 2.2 Ghz (Equal to 2.8 ghz)400W Power supply3x 80 mm Case FansSoyo VIA KT600 Dragon PlusnVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 mb2 x 512 PC400100 GB Western DigitalMicrosoft Sidewinder Precision 2

Remember that pushback right means the tail is being moved to the right meaning the nose will go to the left. I don't know if that is your problem but I know people get confused about that.
