July 17, 200421 yr I just bought a new computer and the Landing and Taxi Lights at night or dusk seem to have a blend or shades when projected on the ground, I have attached a pic to view this problem, I have the current software for everything such as Direct X and video card driver, All other aircraft appear normal. The old computer had no problems with this issue. Doesnt appear to be the Panel cfg , may something I can ajust in Aircraft cfg or display settings ? I installed it like I did on the other computer just cant figure whats going on, here is the specs on my new rig, Thanks for your time and help. July 17, 200421 yr Commercial Member Hi Punch..Welcome to Avsim, and welcome to the PMDG forum. Please take a look at the pinned post at the top of the PMDG forum (PMDG Forum Guidelines 07MAR03 ***ALL READ***). We ask that in the future, you sign all posts in the PMDG forum with your real name according to PMDG forum guidelines. Thanks! As for the screen shots, there is nothing wrong with your system. What you are seeing is no different than what we see on our test platforms. What you are seeing are 7 landing and taxi lights illuminating the runway. Where the light beams overlap, the runway appears brighter.Best,Vin ScimonePMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
July 21, 200421 yr Hi Vin Scimone, Sorry about the user name, Ive have since changed it to bjbaten, and useing my other email address - [email protected]. Take another look at the pics I sent I think you are seeing the left to right or left to right where the light beams overlap. Yes I understand that is normal but turn your brightness up and look at it from top to bottom or bottom to top, and see if you can tell what that blend or shade effect is. To me it looks like ocean waves at the Beach if you will. Sorry to bother you with this again, but do you see what it is I'm seeing ? If so what is it or is it something I can do to fix this, Like I said before I can switch to a default or any other Boeing 737 and you will not see this, Just a normal Landing and Taxi light view, Thanks again for your time and help. Love the Aircraft !!!
