Is this a MS FS2004 problem?

When saving halfway through a flight, when i reload it every setting is lost and i have to pause it to resetup everything again, this seems to be the case with all planes apart from the default ones.Iv always assumed its an MS thing, i dont spose it can be gotten round ne way?Steve

Sure, d/l autosave from Peter Dowson's website where u get FSUIPC.Regards,

cool thanks a lot, does this have the option to manually save?Steve

just read the .txt file should be fine actually, just a couple of questions..this will save all the settings that i have already programmed in even on the no default planes?andwhen it saves each time does it cause any kind of hanging or slow down? Thanks in advance

Steve,You can set the frequency it saves but does not support manual saves i.e. on the ground. Only enroute saves so if u screw up that approach ;-) you can try it again and I believe the last time I used it when it came back into the previous save everything was set. I believe, don't quote me, the MCP may have had to be reset I can't recall. As Vin stated you can't do an FS flight save with the PMDG but this is an alternative. No hangs or lag either.Regards,

YOU CAN save to a point and believe that the FMC can be re-programmed in flight in this situation. You will need to reset the MCP etc. It's been awhile but this has been discussed many times on this forum, try a search and see if it goes back far enough..Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J.
