July 29, 200421 yr Hi folks,I was approaching EIDW Dublin today, altitude was around 7000 ft and decreasing. I set the ILS frequency for runway 10 about 5 minutes ago and I got the localizer already. Then, for some reason all the navigation instruments displayers went like yellow and no changes in NAV frequencies could be made. Also the COM1 was out of order. Though it was possible to change NAV2 frequency and ADF radios were working just fine.Is it some kind of unexpected failure that I have never met before or something that we can consider as bug? Check the screenshot included.
July 29, 200421 yr You know I have never seen this but just goes to show you the level of realism modelled here! This appears to be a LOC failure because failuers such as these always appear in AMBER as your picture shows. What causes this particular failure is the airplanes' data source. How it relates to your situation and in this sim I am not sure.. Best Wishes,
Randy J. Smith

P M D G's 747-400

coming to a runway near you
Caution! July 29, 200421 yr Yeah I also thought that its most probably a failure :) What sort of unexpected failures have you ever experienced? This was my first with PMDG.
July 29, 200421 yr My unexpected failure that I ever had was that an engine flames out in the takeoff just before V1. ;)But later that day I saw in the forums that it is a bug :(But I never had that problem any more and never had any other problem aswell.
