Dual NAV use

Featured Replies

Hi,on FS2004 default aircraft it is possible to use the two VORs independently, that is I can select a course on VOR1 and another one on VOR2 (tuned on two different frequencies), which is quite normal. However, on add-on aircraft, such as PMDG 737 this seems not to be possible: selecting a course on NAV2 will automatically select the same course on NAV1 and vice-versa, which I believe it is not as it is supposed to work. This is regardless of any position of VHF NAV switch on overhead panel. As far as I know, selecting NORMAL should split captain's navigation instruments on VHF Nav 1 and FO's instruments on VHF Nav 2.If my understanding is correct, can someone please advise how to fix this issue ? Regards
