Airways

Recommended Posts

Guest am2513

When I make a flightplan in FSNav or FSBuild, and then attempt to enter them into the FMC, some of the airways I try to use say "not in database" eg "UA1" (south of UK). I have the latest airac cyle and sid/stars, is there somthing else I am ment to have to enable me to use these "non-existant airways"?ThanksAdrian McCague

Looks like your FSNav database is way out of date Adrian.IIRC UA1 went out earlier this year or end of last year when a lot of UK airways were renamed. If you have the latest AIRAC cycle from FSNav did you remember to run the FSNav database?Have a look on the VATSIM-UK site for airway changes. The change were effective 27th November 2003! UA1 became UN615 (there's a typo on the web site).http://www.vatsim-uk.org/useful/airway_changes.aspAlso are you aware that you can get current UK entry & exit routes from the UK AIS site?http://www.ais.org.ukHTHDave
