August 22, 200421 yr Guys, I'm about to fail my last year of my degree, due to ... you guessed it, FS2004 and most of that time has been spent in the 737!If the 747 is released in the next month or 2 I will almost surely spend far, far, far too much time playing and no time studying!Of course, if you could find someway to disable the accelerated time function for the first release anyway, then I could study will doing long hauls.I'm only kidding, but just don't let me buy it when it comes out, release it but add, "NOT to be bought by students about to fail their software engineer and digital communication modules"Thanks :)
August 22, 200421 yr Tell me about it! I was in my second term for my Industrial Electrician when the 800 @ 900 where released. I finally had to take my Hotas and lock it in the basement so I couldn't play. Hardest month and a half of my life!!:-lol
August 22, 200421 yr >Guys, I'm about to fail my last year of my degree, due to ...>you guessed it, FS2004 and most of that time has been spent in>the 737!Reminds me of the famous anonymous Usenet post about a new release of Nethack (www.nethack.org), arguably the world's most addictive and difficult game:"Thank you for the latest release of Gradewrecker. My GPA just went into the corner and shot itself."-SimonAscended only twice in fifteen years of playingEdit: added personal Nethack record
August 22, 200421 yr Just because you can't manage priorities doesn't mean the rest of us should suffer.
August 23, 200421 yr I may not be amzing at balancing priorities, but I still have a sense of humour. ;) :( Even after running a programming business, doing a degree and working part-time for a friend, and I still manage to fly in FS too many hours.
August 23, 200421 yr I'm sorry Paul, but you're just gonna have to "take one for the team." We'll be thinking of you and your sacrifice while we're flying the 744 and you're working the grill at "Quickie Burger" :D :D(Good luck with your last year)
