September 2, 200421 yr Hey,Just a quick question. I have read that the 737 is sometimes refered to as "Fat Albert". Just was curious when this came about and why or what was the reasoning. I think it is because it was a short haul a/c that used 6 abreast seating, the BAC 1-11 & Douglas DC-9 were 5 abreast seating. Any ideas? Jhan M. September 2, 200421 yr It`s because of the first two models, the 100 and 200. They look really short and stubby! :D Just like the 600!RgdsKevin
