September 5, 200421 yr Probably a silly question once again!!But after 3-4 succesfull starts following Timothy Metzinger's tutorial ver2 (Day 1) and starting with the same cold and dark cockpit, I am surprisingly not able to start the engines today.I'm sure I have followed the procedure in the tutorial step by step. The only thing I have remarked is that on the engine display there is an amber sign saying "low oil pressure" for both engines. Can anybody help me?CheersLars - DK

September 5, 200421 yr I too have an engine start "problem." Whenever I move the fuel cut-off levers I always get a hot start/very high EGT readings. Is there anyway to turn off the "hot start" failure? ;-) Maybe the 744 will be better in this area, as well as all other areas,CheersPaul
September 6, 200421 yr Author Just this feed-back to tell you that i succeeded to start the engines. I tried severel times and then - following Metzinger's tutorial's checklist - the engines started again. Allthough I think i did follow the checklist acurately, I might have made a mistake. It is - off course - frustrating not to know exactly what went wrong. But that's something I expirience once in a while with computers ;)Thanks a lot for your help. Lars
