Hellow fellow painters, I am currently trying to paint a cargo aircraft but I need to get rid of those windows. I tried deleting the window layer, but then they still do not dissapear, I tried painting over them but then if I would like to place text or lines over them, my lines or text dissapear because they are still there. Can someone help me with this problem? Many thanks. Scott

Scott,Sounds like you're painting on a wrong layer. Make a new layer, do the livery on that. You don't need to delete the window layer, just deselect it.You'll also have to edit the alpha for the fuselage as its colour around the windows and will show up in FS otherwise..

Scott, there are several window layers involved. I'm not at my computer but from memory there are window, window blank, window frame, window hightlights, and window shades layers. As John stated, you can just deselect these with no need to delete them.
