September 13, 200421 yr Hi all,I must be doing something reeeely stupid here. When taking off the AT keeps pulling the N1 back to about 34% once Im climbing out. It is getting annoying. I am using the PMDG 737-7DT RAAF. I did a forum search but cant locate anything on a similar line.I am inputting data into FMC and getting that all set up, then once on the Dep threshold I arm the AT, increase N1 to 40%, press TO/GA, follow the power up with the throttles, then once in a climb I activate the LNAV and then VNAV and almost immediately the N1 slows to 34%ish. I cant get the N1 back up unless I disarm the AP and AT and go completely manual. Can someone point out my fault please.Sean H Sean (Brisbane, Australia) Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz, 2904 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s) OPSYS Windows 11 Homex64 Application Lockheed Martin P3Dv4
September 13, 200421 yr Hi Sean, did you put the V2 speed in the MCP speed window ?When engaging A/P after takeoff (standard procedures dictate at least at 400ft AGL), it should automatically jump at V2+20kts, FD and A/T should command a climb attitude/power condition to reach and maintain this speed till you engage a vertical mode (VNAV or V/S or FL CH, again SOPs say to engage at least at 1000 ft AGL).Try and let know if this corrects your problem.
September 13, 200421 yr HiyI installed a PCI graphic card in my computer. I have a Radeon 5700 dual head end a PCI 5200 I use it to show the weather radar. If you use the resolution 640 x 480 it has no effect on the framerate.kind regardsmark
September 25, 200421 yr Author Hi,Thanks for the posts above, I have been away for a while and have just got back trying to get off the ground.I have been following the SOP Boeing 737NG Revision 2.10/040822 to the letter, but as I roll down the rwy and pass 80kts the A/T pulls the power back on both engines to around 33% and I coast to a stop.I have noticed that when I engage the A/T (approaching the lineup) that the flag appears on the Annunciator(FMA) and is green with green box, but after say 10sec it changes to a white text only with no box. Also as we pass 80kts the A/T starts pulling the power back it changes to a green N1 and sometimes a green THR HLD text. The other problem which has started around the same time I installed the 737-7DT add-on, is that it flys straight through the FMC CRZ ALT and corresponding MCP ALT. The ALT ALERT sounds and displays, but drops out as it gets to 400ft below assigned.I have searched the forum and cant find anything the same. I will get some screen shots with the FMA visible. I must have done twenty preflights now from cold dark start to the rwy roll and each time I think this is going to be it so haven't worries about the pics. I have read some of the other posts re the A/T and tried those just in case, but still nothing. I have been getting the wild porposing in flight but I attribute this to the A/T not being engaged as per some posts.Any help appreciated, I'm sure I'm just doing something stupid....Sean Sean (Brisbane, Australia) Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz, 2904 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s) OPSYS Windows 11 Homex64 Application Lockheed Martin P3Dv4
