IF someone has REX could they take a picture of the weather depiction of the east coast of Australia today? I have AS and I am very upset with its depiction/modelling of a Category 2 TRS. If REX can depict it, I'm in.

Hi guys, I'm a long time user of AS products and have been extremely happy and recommended to countless friends. Anyway, I made the jump to a new system Win7-64, and now us FSX. I've been having lots and lots of Fatal Errors, so I did a HD reformat and reloaded everything because I couldnt find the problem. Short story is that I firmly believe that AS2012 is somehow causing the my Fatal Errors in FSX when I'm connected to VATSIM. Specific conditions are FSX FSInn AS2012 joining VATSIM with any traffic around = Fatal Error. repeatable. FSX FSInn and connect to VATSIM with traffic around have not yet had a Fatal Error. How could AS2012 be the straw that is breaking my enjoyment, and can it be fixed. As I said I have in the last 24hrs repeated this several times over. If AS2012 is running when I hit connect on FSInn and there is traffic in my mutli-player, I get Fatal Error. I am now sadly missing the excellent product that I have used for years, and hope that the reason can be identified. EDIT: Build: 4363

Since updating my FSUIPC model, I cant get as much right Aileron and I can Left. I was having same issue as I disconnected AP on final. The aircraft just wont roll to the right no matter what I do. Sitting on the ground looking from rear of aircraft, no matter what settings I use there is 90% to Left and 10% to right. Almost as though it thinks the centre is 40% left roll.

I have just reformatted my HD, and wish to re-install my PMDG products. Doing a search there is an old topic from 2003 on doing this. I admit that I am a newbie, and that I am jumping into the deep end, BUT.. What is the best process for importing an FSX .mdl into GMax for editing, and then back the other way? I've done some searches, but nothing that seems to make sense to me, and recently posted. I sincerely appreciate anyones assistance in this process. My goal is to edit an FSX B350 by adding some military sensors in an attempt to create an MC-12W. I have GMax 2.0.0 installed.

Two fold Question, based on my trying to simulate the BBJ. 1. Is it possible to modify the 737-700W fuel capacity from 46,055Lb up to 66,444Lb, and MTOW from 153K to 171K? 2. Is there any rumours comments on whether there will be a actual BBJ version coming in the future? I searched but couldn't see any news or comment recently. Sorry if it is there somewhere.

Yep hanging out for the BBJ update, but always good to have any news.

well when I added 10 first class passengers it added 1,800Lb. so for 1st class paxs it seems to be 180Lb/pax

Not sure but I keep posting this and it disappears for some unknown reason. Is anyone else having problems trying to run FSInn after loading NGX? Everytime I try and launch FSInn after loading the NGX, FSX crashes to disk.

Is anyone else having FSX CTD when trying to start FSInn with the NGX loaded? I have trialled various starting procedures, but if I try to load FSInn with the NGX loaded, then FSX crashes to Disk. At the moment I am having to start FSInn, and then load NGX after FSInn is running. This is only happening with the NGX.

OK, Mr Richard Gerrish put me onto this page. Unfortunately it did not work for me, however it may for others. http://faq.apollo3.com/ljames/fsinn/vatsim/faq/#addonsFail It moves the FSCopilot entry to the bottom in the FSX DLL file.

Each time I try and start FSInn with the 737NGX loaded FSX crashes. I can start FSInn with any other acft loaded without issue, but for some reason whilst the NGX is loaded FSInn will not start.

Hi Justin,Wish I had seen this earlier. I was with vUSCG but had to leave, and was sorely missing my Helo/SAR executions etc. Even tryed to get my own virtual AusSAR going, but alas it didn't happen.How did you go with this?

I recall seeing once before a panel which had a gauge which acted like a CCTV on the outside of the aircraft. I think it was a bomber and was used as a bomb bay view on the actual panel.I have searched everywhere and cannot re-find it. Has anyone seen this gauge and/or know ehere I could find it. It would be good to use it on a AAR tanker.

Bob,No good mate. Followed it through step by step, and still get same thing. (Found 700+ files in the TEMP folder)So Registry Cleaner still will not delete FSX from the registry. It appears on the list however trying to remove it produces the runtime error '5'Thank-you for your time and replies. Even though I haven't fixed it, at least you made the effort.

Bob,Thanks for the List. I will start on it today, and report back.Since last post, I did a Search for FSX* and then deleted everything that appeared. Funny it still had quite a few entries in various folders etc.Thanks again, hopefully report back soon as a happy camper again.. ;-)

OK, agreed lets get back to basics.Windows XP Media Center Edition v2002SP3, Intel Core 2 CPU 6600 @ 2.40GHz, 2.39GHz 2.00GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 7900GSBeen running FS9 with add-ons for long time and still no issues with FS9 etc.FSX was purchased on DVD, and installed when it first came out, however only ran once. Whenever I put the DVD into the drive it says this "Patch Package....." and closes.I tryed to uninstall FSX, however it wasn't in the Program ADD/Remove list.I have since deleted the FSX folder from the C:\\Installed and ran Registry Mechanic. (Found 2000+ supposed errors????, and repaired them all except one unknown)Installed and ran Installer Cleaner. (runtime error when I try and remove FSX)So here I am, now.FSX is on the start menu, but nothing in the folder.FSX DVD inserted, "Patch Package ........" and closes.Main FSX folder been removed from C:Every Otherthing on computer seems to run fine, except everytime I restart Windows, I get several Installers running (unknown what they are for).

Thanks Sargeski, I have now downloaded, installed and run the MS Installer Clean Up Utility. It finds FSX, however when I try and remove it the program gets a runtime error and CTD.Looks like FSX has a mind of it's own and doesn't want to be touched.It would have been good, but now apart from reformatting my whole drive and re-installing everything I have, I'm U/S.

Thanks Kendall, I actually have used that and it didn't seem to make any difference. After I used it I saw two things, 1. it says for MS Office, and 2. In another forum it warns against using it.I haven't tryed getting the latest installer. Will do a search on that one now..... Thanks.

Looking for help on this issue. I recently tryed to run FSX and now get a message and the program won't run.Similar to "Patch Package could not be opened. Ensure the Patch Package is vaild at this F:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X.msi"Now I can't do anything with FSX, eg won't run, won't repair, won't uninstall....Done a couple of searches on Internet, but haven't had any luck yet. I thought that you guys being the collective gurus would probably know straight up.

Hi guys,I only just heard a rumour that PMDG was doing a Q400. I've been searching for a Q400 panel for sometime. Is this true that PMDG will be putting their hand to a Q400??? FS9 specifically.
