August 7, 201114 yr Hi, i Ive wonder if anyone has had problems with VATSIM connections using 737NGX. Fscopilots connects good, But after a while its disconnects? Any ideas?
August 7, 201114 yr Check if that Problem could be caused by that Software, i dont think that PMDG will support any 3rd Party Software causing disconnects. Greetings Chris
August 7, 201114 yr Hi gueyo, yes, unfortunately a huge count of customers experience the NGX is not multiplayer compatible. Even on microsoft's standard multiplayer section (gamsespy).Currently status, 2 threads has been closed already, and additionally further comments of customers of guys who experience the same incompatibility and mention it, their post got deleted by anyone for unknown reasons. This is very strange and it leaves a bad aftertaste ala PMDG don't want to hear incompatibilities their customer are dealing with. For me it seems they going to conceal this issue, not sure. Sincerely, Marcel (PS: If anybody going to delete me my post again, obvously I just share my opinion as it's usually wished in forums, please send me a PM what you think I'm doing wrong with my posts. Thanks in advance.) Regards, Marcel Status: Waiting for a PMDG 737 NGX FSX gamespy Multiplayer hotfix
August 7, 201114 yr I did a 5½ hour VATSIM flight in real time today (yeah, I know). FSInn disconnected once, which is probably about the same as what I see on average with other addon aircraft. August 7, 201114 yr I seem to be staying In gamespy a bit longer than before, although it could be just random, I deleted the fsx.cfg file and let fsx built a new one, did the ******* tweaks from the installation manual of this plane. And I also disabled a couple of 2d panels in the panel.cfg file. I will keep trying . And hopefully someone will be able to fix this.
August 7, 201114 yr 7 flights in the NGX, well over 14 hours, all online with Vatsim (fsinn), no issues, no disconnects. Works perfectly. I hope this helps. Bill Casey
August 7, 201114 yr This is not pmdg fault in my opinion, its gamespys fault for not designing or upgrading there system to deal with bigger more complex addons
August 7, 201114 yr I wonder who alter Posts in here, its a shame, however all i have seen so far let me think that there is no interest to take a closer look to problems some users experience while trying to play online. However, i gonna keep my attention on this things and will get in contact with the right Persons when its Time. Greetings Chris
August 7, 201114 yr Been flying every NGX flight over FSINN on VATSIM, not one disconnect. AJ Pongress
August 13, 201114 yr Each time I try and start FSInn with the 737NGX loaded FSX crashes. I can start FSInn with any other acft loaded without issue, but for some reason whilst the NGX is loaded FSInn will not start. August 13, 201114 yr OK, Mr Richard Gerrish put me onto this page. Unfortunately it did not work for me, however it may for others. http://faq.apollo3.com/ljames/fsinn/vatsim/faq/#addonsFail It moves the FSCopilot entry to the bottom in the FSX DLL file. August 13, 201114 yr Instead of starting FSInn from the addon menu, try starting it from the Windows start menu (located in the FSFDT start menu folder) once you have the NGX up and running. August 13, 201114 yr FSINN on Vatsim works fine with me. No Disconnects. I've not flown the NGX on a flight longer than 2.5 hours though. Paul Heaney - CYKF
