Can't stand finger prints either. Very disapointed when I saw they were including them, rather than clean screens in the NGX. Add an option, and we can all live happy.

Guelph, is no longer an option. It seems the Owner of the airport, passed away recently, and the Owners of the flight school are too old to continue operating. I know this, as Guelph Airport is 2 minutes from where I am.

Just started using ASE, after Using Activesky6.5 for ages with no problems. FSX Freezes as soon as the Green Bar pops up to show its updating, and stutters, until all stations are updated. I searched the forums, and Jim, says to make sure virus software is not scanning the files. Which files? I'm using AVAST. Any other ideas, or does this sound like the culprit. Thanks.

FSINN on Vatsim works fine with me. No Disconnects. I've not flown the NGX on a flight longer than 2.5 hours though.

Algae?

Just had my first freeze about 5 minutes ago, while turning final into FlightBeam's KSFO. FSX Was still running, but the HGS, and panel was frozen. Froze on my while in a descending turn, and I spiraled down to a crash.

And I responded to your inaccuracies in a civil manor, without the WOW. Only troll here I see is you. Like I said, your 5 minutes of FSX with your 1 CTD isn't enough to make an educated conclusion.

You had 1 CTD and have already solved it to say it's the scenery? Look above, others that don't have it, are having CTD as well.

You can find it by Hitting MENU on the CDU, then click PMDG SETUP, AIRCRAFT, EQUIPMENT, Then look on Page 3, for HGS INSTALLED.

Can't you plug an Ethernet cable into it, temporary to activate?

If your in 2D Panel mode, you've just gotta suck it up. Looks great in VC though

Check your options in the CDU and make sure you have it enabled.

Patience. I got lucky, and got it activated last night. Its well worth the wait. But so frustrating for everyone to have it downloaded, and unable to activate. Hang in there. Make sure you are entering the right Key. the LONG one. NGXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, and not the order number.

You weren't. Had the same problem an hour after it was released, spent way too much time trying to figure it out. All good now

So, I downloaded the NGX last night, and activated it. Love it. It's a Masterpiece. I'm thinking of formatting the HD this weekend, and doing a fresh install. What happens, when I install the NGX again, and try to Re-Activate? Will it go smooth, or is something else required, since I've already activated it. (about 14hours now) Appreciate the info.

Same here. Did some hand flying with the HUD, now its time for bed.

I Have my parking brakes stuck on as well. Tried tapping the toe brakes, CTRL . numberous times, can't get it to release. Any ideas? That was the issue. Much appreciated. Man, this bird is complex! But in a good way
